Jeg vil ha med så mange som mulig i testingen, men kanskje ikke flere enn tre - fire om gangen. Det blir ikke noe bruk for karakterkonsepter den første tiden, ettersom vi kommer til prøve å teste så mange <<builds>> som mulig. Jeg vet ikke hvor lang tid det vil ta. Hver session tar så lang tid vi vil, noen timer av gangen. Vi trenger ikke å møtes bare for å teste spillet, vi kan jo alltids finne på mye annet Smile
På lang sikt vil det nok ta noen måneder, eller kanskje mange mange måneder hvis jeg får mange tilbakespill og mye å jobbe på. Det at du ikke kan akkurat nå Peter er ikke noe problem, når du har tid er det bare å si ifra Smile

Skills


Accuracy.
Description:
With higher accuracy skill, it grows easier for the character to hit what he aims at. All ranged weapons and throwables use this skill.
Usage:
Used to hit what you aim at.
Focus governs the Accuracy skill.

Acting.
Description:
How well the character is at acting, is how well he can fool someone into believing his or her lies, or even that he or she is someone else. If the character wants to disguise him or herself as to not be noticed, or the opposite, the Acting skill is crucial to its success. Even the ability to create a rhyme or act in a play is governed by this skill. The possibilities of Acting are vast. That is why you sometimes will use your acting with intelligence, and sometimes with charisma. The sky is truly the limit.
Usage:
Used to bluff, disguise, and provoke feelings in a person, like love or fear.
Intelligence or Charisma governs the Acting skill.

Athletics.
Description:
A Character that is a strong athlete can jump farther, climb better, and take less damage from falling. If the character has to perform a dexterous roll into cover, or use strength to wade a swift creek, the Athletics skill is used for both.
Usage:
Used to roll, tumble, and evade, run more smoothly in difficult terrain, climb, and jump farther.
Strength or Dexterity governs the Athletics skill.

Chemistry*.
Description:
This is the science of the composition, structure, properties, and reactions of matter. One who has the Chemistry skill can with the right (chemistry) related knowledge, discover the properties of any substance, and compose chemicals for a variety of uses. Like herb mixtures, potions, explosives and poisons. Without training in the art of chemistry, a character is likely to fail any attempt at creating any chemical reaction.
Usage:
Used to compose herb mixtures, potions, poisons, and create explosive substances and other chemical reactions.
Intelligence governs the Chemistry skill.
A character needs to be trained in Chemistry to attempt a Chemistry roll.

Combat.
Description:
This skill is a characters prowess in melee combat situations. With this skill, one can swing swords, parry blows, and dodge attacks. As a characters prowess increases, one find it easier to overcome the defense of others while keeping oneself protected. Critical damage can even be inflicted on targets who lack combat prowess.
Usage:
Used to hit, block and dodge in melee fights.
Dexterity governs the Combat skill.

Craftsmanship.
Description:
One who is strong with the Craftsmanship skill has, with the right knowledge, the ability to create items, equipment and other material of high quality. One can also demolish such material.
Usage:
Used to build, create equipment, repair, demolish, and disable device.
Dexterity governs the Craftsmanship skill.

Handle Animal.
Description:
With the Handle Animal skill, the character can attempt to calm and ally any animal. Some animals, like the horse, can even be ridden. A character that is a very adept animal handler can even ally the most ferocious and aggressive animals.
Usage:
Used to calm, tame, ally and ride animals.
Wisdom governs the Handle Animal skill.

Heal*.
Description:
The Heal skill incorporates everything from first aid to surgery. With a high Heal skill, the character has less chance at making mistakes when healing his, her, or others wounds. Broken bones can be mended, wounds can be stitched, fragments (and limbs) can be removed, and lives can be saved. Combined with a high Biology and Human Physiology knowledge, the Heal skill can be quite useful, and powerful. One who is not trained in the ways of healing will most likely do more damage than good.
Usage:
Used to heal, bind and stitch wounds, and perform minor and major surgeries.
Focus governs the Heal skill.
A character needs to be trained in Heal to attempt a Heal roll.

Linguistics*.
Description:
This skill enables the character to master the academic arts of writing, reading and understanding multiple languages and codes. Trough Linguistics, one can learn new languages with greater ease, and even get a partial understanding of never before heard languages, as long as there exist some link or relation to a familiar language or code. One who is not trained in Linguistics will not understand squat outside of his own language.
Usage:
Used to read, write, and understand codes and languages.
Intelligence governs the Linguistics skill.
A character needs to be trained in Linguistics to attempt a Linguistics roll.

Perception.
Description:
This is the characters combined level of hearing, sight, smell, taste, touch, and equilibrium. It also depicts how aware the character is of his or her surroundings.
Usage:
Used to notice changes in any of the senses, notice traps, individuals that stealth, and to estimate the quality, amount, size, and other features of various items.
Focus governs the Perception skill.

Sense Motive.
Description:
When a person is bluffing or avoiding telling the truth, or when someone is acting in a suspicious manner, the Sense Motive skill enables the character to see their true motive.
Usage:
Used to see the truth, or at least detect a lie, and to detect strange and suspicious behavior.
Wisdom governs the Sense Motive skill.


Sleight of Hand*.
Description:
Sleight of Hand is a multipurpose skill with which the character can perform all sorts of tasks requiring a nimble, fast, and dexterous hand. If a pocket needs pickpocketing, a door needs lock picking, or a rope needs loosening and escaping, Sleight of Hand is the skill for you. Because of the skillfulness that is needed in performing these tasks, only one who is trained in Sleight of Hand will be able to do anything useful in one such situation.
Usage:
Used to pickpocket, lock pick, escape from bondage, and hide various items in plain sight.
Dexterity governs the Sleight of Hand skill.
A character needs to be trained in Sleight of Hand to attempt a Slight of Hand roll.

Speech craft.
Description:
This is a most useful skill for when interacting with another sentient being. One who is good at Speech craft receives better prices in stores, gathers more information, and persuades with more ease.
Usage:
Used to trade, barter, haggle, gather information, and persuade.
Charisma governs the Speech craft skill.

Stealth.
Description:
This is the skill for those who wish to remain unseen, and even become partly invisible. Stealth focuses on moving with grace and care, so that one will not make any noise, nor be caught by the eye. It is the art and the science of moving perfectly silent in the shadows, and where none will look.
Usage:
Used to sneak, stealth and stay hidden.
Focus governs the Stealth skill.

Survival.
Description:
Need to navigate a ship or find the closest food source? Then Survival is the skill for you. With Survival, you can train yourself in finding north, fresh food, and water in the wilds. With the right knowledge, you can further become a navigator on a ship, or a skilled tracker of animal, and human, tracks.
Usage:
Used to navigate, find north, tracks, shelter, water and food, and knowing when food has expired or are poisonous.
Wisdom governs the Survival skill.

Swim*.
Description:
The skill of swimming is one you should care to know if you are planning to spend time in or around water. A good swimmer swims better, faster, and can dive for longer before coming up for air. If you do not know how to swim, and you find yourself in deep water, then you should start calling for help. Because without the Swim skill, you stand no chance against the water.
Usage:
Used to swim and dive.
Dexterity governs the Swim skill.
A character needs to be trained in Swim to attempt a Swim roll.

Tactics.
Description:
This is the skill for the general and the veteran soldier. Tactics allow the character to lay plans with a higher success rate, perform more complex plans, and generally performing tactical actions with more efficiency and greater effect. Tactical actions being any personal action during combat that result in a better result. Like flanking, cover, retreat, high ground, and surround.
Usage:
Used to create personal and team player bonus modifiers on any action or skill.
Intelligence governs the Tactics skill.

Technology.
Description:
Everything from a bow, to a landmine, to a shotgun, to a computers system is technology, and with the right knowledge, every detail of every technology is within your grasp. The Technology skill focuses on controlling, modifying, explaining and creating technology. With this skill, and the right knowledge, you can disarm a bomb, create a force field, hack a computer and even fix a ruined cart. The skill is also the characters ability to understand technology, use it, and understand new never before seen technology, and interpret it.
Usage:
Used to understand technology, hack, disarm, use technology, and research into new technology.
Intelligence governs the Technology skill.

Timing.
Description:
This is the skill for those that want to be even more skillful, because with good timing, comes better results. If the character needs to move, jump or strike at a specific time to gain the best result, the timing is crucial. Depending on the situation, Timing is either an action by itself, or it creates bonuses when performing other actions.
Usage:
Used to choose the best time to act, and create personal bonus modifiers on any action or skill.
Focus governs the Timing skill.

Jeg har i en stund nå bygd opp et spillsystem og medfølgende verden, og jeg trenger interesserte spillere til å teste systemet.
Spillet går for tiden under navnet Tales Untold, og testingen vil i første omgang fokusere på enkel combat og videre skill use. Vi vil holde på i noen timer om gangen så vi kan møtes de fleste dager i uken hvis det er interesse for det Smile
Spillet er bygget opp rundt et fritt no-class, no-level, d10 Performance system, med et komplekst skill og ability "skjelett".
Det eksisterer fire unike rollespillverdener som spillerne skal kunne utforske, vi vil kun fokusere på en av disse i første omgang. Denne blir kalt Ferhédom, og er en medium til low medieval fantasy setting. Det eksisterer også magi i denne verden, så det er noe vi vil utforske, og teste, senere Wink

Som tester vil dere lære av meg hvordan systemet fungerer, med den viktige delen er at dere lærer dere hvordan systemet ikke funger. Ikke på en negativ måte selvsagt. Målet er at spillet skal utvikle seg, så konstruktive tilbakemeldinger er veldig viktig. Dette gjelder både på hvordan systemet fungerer eller ikke fungerer i ren praksis, men også på hvordan dere som unike spillere og personer oppfatter spillet og hva dere liker og misliker. Ikke alle meninger vil forandre mine valg, men alle meninger er viktige å ytre.
